Sony BDP-S1

DVDFile.com's Dan Ramer has published the first installment of his review of the Sony BDP-S1 Blu-ray Disc player.

He seems to like it, for the time being.

For this first take, he looked at the performance of the player with two single-layer BD discs -- The Fifth Element and The Fantastic Four. The continuation of the review--with dual-layer discs--should give a more definitive look at the real capabilities of the Sony player, as well as of the format itself.
